It’s official: Brands are getting timelines on Facebook [pics]

We were waiting patiently, whilst preparing a few campaigns for launch tomorrow, to hear how Facebook was planning to change the marketing of brands through it’s network.

We all expected them to announce the timelines for pages and many worried about what implications this would be for the tabs we have all invested massive resources into developing.

We just given a sneak peak of what the timelines will look like, and have been informed that they will be going public on the 30th of March 2012. Page admins are going to be having their hands filled with chores such as filling out the timeline and creating coverphotos, where developers will enjoy slightly larger canvas space for their tab apps.
