From 11th of February till the 25th of March (2011) we ran the online competition for S7SCharity on our very own LikePix platform. (See the project details in our porfolio listing.)
This article explains how the platform got the S7S Charity appeal almost a quarter of a million Blue Social Spots.
We should probably start out by describing what Blue Social Spots (BSS) are, with that definition out the way, we return to the case at hand and see that during the 42 day campaign content from the platform was shared, interacted with (on the social network) and liked 5,720 times, giving us a whopping 747,600 BSS.
What this meant for the Charity appeal was 747,600 actual people may have seen the branded post that was shared by their actual friends on the network, as a direct effect from using the LikePix platform that we provided for them.
Update: After the successful S7SCharity.com campaign, the platform was used to launch the WeLoveGuaba.com campaign for Guaba Beach Bar in Limassol and has proved even more effective in the number of BSS it has already attracted. (More on this project will be added to the site in the coming days.)
