General Troubleshooting

Events Not Appearing in Intercom

  1. Check that your Personal Access Token is correct
  2. Enable Debug Log in settings (WooCommerce > Settings > Integration > Intercom Integration)
  3. View logs at WooCommerce > Status > Logs and look for ewi-woocommerce-intercom log files
  4. Check for API errors or rate limiting issues in the logs
  5. Verify the customer exists in Intercom
  6. Check that events are enabled in settings

Guest Checkouts Not Tracking

  1. Enable Sync Guest Events in settings
  2. Ensure Insert Footer JS is enabled
  3. Check browser console for JavaScript errors
  4. Verify Intercom widget is loading on your site

Bulk Sync Not Working

  1. Verify your Personal Access Token has correct permissions
  2. Enable debug logging and check WooCommerce > Status > Logs for errors
  3. Check for PHP errors in WordPress debug log
  4. Ensure background processing (WP Cron) is working
  5. Check available PHP memory and execution time limits
  6. If sync appears stuck, try cancelling and restarting it

Subscription Events Not Firing

  1. Ensure WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin is installed and active
  2. Check plugin compatibility versions
  3. Verify subscription hooks are not disabled
  4. Enable debug logging to see subscription event details
