Intercom have changed how Apps (and some integrations) are managed.
- Head over to your Intercom Developer Hub
- Click the blue ‘New app‘ button.
IMPORTANT: Under Basic Information, set the API Version to 1.4.
Support for v2.0 is in development and testing. - Under the new app, click on the Authentication link on the side bar and create an Access taken with all the Write permissions enabled for People and Conversations data and click ‘Save’.
- Copy and Paste the token string under the app name (making sure to copy the whole thing, ESPECIALLY the trailing ‘=’ sign) into the Personal Access Token field on our plugin settings.
